We are committed to helping our clients start fresh on a path of recovery from drug, alcohol, and/or prescription addiction. We recognize that the entire being of a person needs treatment, from mental to physical and everything in between, so we are equpped to provide treatment services covering mental health and chemical dependency. Our staff possess a combined 100 years of drug treatment experiences, so we understand the sensitive and important needs of each of our clients. Alcohol Addiction

Alcohol abuse is a negative, possibly life-threatening issue affecting otherwise healthy, happy, and responsible people. Our treatment services (residential treatment, rehabilitation, group therapy, chemical dependency treatment) are centered on returning each of our clients back to a sober state of mind and body through proper treatment. Houston Discovery Community provides services including:

• Intensive detox

• Individualized treatment plans

• Behavior modification and positive reinforcement through a community of encouragement

Painkiller and prescription addiction is becoming a significant problem facing our clients. It affects people from all walks of life and the dependence, while starting innocently enough for good reasons, spirals into addiction. The addiction can be life-threatening and harmful to individuals, families, and communities. If you or a loved one has developed a dependency/addiction to painkillers or prescription medication, our substance abuse program will provide a path to recovery and wellness.

Inpatient residential treatment is one of our specialties. Our clients come from all parts of Houston, Sugar Land, Katy, Galveston, Pearland areas and Harris, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston counties and surrounding areas to seek treatment through our 30, 60, 90 day residential programs.

Our services include:

• Inpatient evaluation upon admission

• Assessment of existing conditions including possible dual diagnosis

• Individualized treatment plan during the inpatient program

• Holistic therapy

Our highly-skilled staff will customize a treatment plan to fit each client’s needs and seeks to maximize the effectiveness of our inpatient residential treatment programs.

If you you or your loved ones does not need inpatient treatment, they may opt for outpatient addiction treatment in order to fit their own schedule. Houston Discovery Community & our highly-skilled staff are committed to seeing success from each of our clients and a happy, healthy path toward success.

We provide personalized IOP and SOP Treatment Programs to fit each client:

Individualized, Intensive Out Patient (IOP) Program Example:

• 3 days per week  3 hours each day 

• 5 days per week 2 hours each day .

• Total 9 – 10 hours per week

Supportive Out Patient (SOP) Program Example:

Individual s will attend SOP  any of our groups  1-2 hours per week

After  Care / Alumni: Meet  One day per week
